Throughout my legal career, I have worked with individuals as well as small and large businesses across a variety of industries. In each of my cases, I have found my work incredibly meaningful as I work with clients to find solutions to difficult or even daunting problems.
After graduating law school in 2017, I practiced as part of a nationally ranked firm and practice group in Washington, D.C. where I represented American industries in unfair trade investigations in international trade. During this time, I gained valuable experience representing businesses and associations through the course of investigations and reviews by government agencies and appeals to the federal circuit. I also represented several clients on a pro bono basis in immigration and trademark matters.
I strongly believe that the best way to represent a client is to know the client’s perspective, concerns, and goals. Based on that philosophy, prior to moving to Asheville, I worked with a start-up business to better understand the needs and concerns of small businesses. I am proud of my experience helping large and small businesses navigate legal questions and concerns.
While new to Asheville, I have spent several years living in North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where I served as Editor in Chief of the North Carolina Journal of International Law, a Student Participant in the UNC Intellectual Property Clinic, Fundraising Chair for the Veterans Advocacy Legal Organization, and a Mentor for Women in Law.
I like to spend my free time hiking with my dog, skiing, rock climbing, traveling, or checking out a new brewery.
